## A Light Touch in Detailed Rooms

The living room at Lewis Ranch Road combines arched windows, exposed ceiling beams and decorative wall panels. Mia’s Home kept the furnishings pale and softly shaped, using ivory seating and a low organic-form table to balance the room’s detail. A large neutral rug brings the group together beneath the high ceiling.

## A Sequence of Different Moods

Upholstered dining chairs complement the formal paneling and patterned walls of the dining room. In a separate sitting area, sculptural chairs and a curved sofa sit over parquet flooring, leaving the arched windows prominent. A simple round table marks the entry by the sweeping staircase. Each arrangement gives the architecture room while offering a comfortable place within it.

Arched windows, exposed beams and patterned walls give this San Carlos home a distinctive setting. Pale sculptural seating and layered rugs soften the formal rooms, keeping their architectural detail and elevated outlook in view.
