Learn our precise steps for restoring your walls so they look flawless again.
When removing artwork or furniture from your walls, our goal is to leave each space looking as seamless as possible. One of the ways we do this is by patching any small nail holes that remain. Here’s a quick look at our process—and how you can help us achieve the best results.
1. Filling the Holes
We begin by filling the nail holes with professional-grade spackling or putty.
Once the filler is applied, we allow it to fully cure according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Sanding & Smoothing
After the spackling has dried, we sand the area to create a smooth surface that blends in with the surrounding wall.
3. Touch-Up Painting
If you have leftover wall paint on hand, please let us know in advance and indicate where it’s stored.
Matching the existing color ensures a more uniform finish and helps make the repair nearly invisible.
4. Final Inspection
We do a final check to confirm the patched area matches the wall’s texture and color as closely as possible.
Even small variations in color can be noticeable on a wall, especially when viewed in different lighting throughout the day. By providing us with the exact paint used for your walls, we can achieve a far better color match. This step ensures your wall looks as good as new after we’re finished.
Important Note
We are happy to patch minor nail holes as part of our removal process, but significant wall damage or larger repairs may require a professional contractor or painter.
If you do not have leftover paint, we can still attempt a close color match, though an exact match may not be guaranteed.
